Fire & EMS 3 attend "Safety Weekend"
at the Waldorf Home Depot

April 3-4, 2004:

Members from Fire 3 and EMS 3 participated in a "Safety Weekend" at the Waldorf Home Depot store on April 3 & 4. Several pieces of Fire and EMS apparatus were on display for the public to view and ask questions about. Firefighters and EMS personnel answered numerous questions from both children and adults about the functions of the different types of apparatus and equipment the fire department uses on a routine basis. Personnel also provided information about Fire Prevention and passed out helmets to the children. On Sunday, as the units were preparing to return to quarters, Home Depot presented a donation to each division. Fire 3 was presented with a Weston Gas Grill and EMS 3 was presented with a Torro Lawn Mower. On behalf of the members of both divisions, we would like to extend our appreciation to the Manager and Employees of the Waldorf Home Depot for these donations. We guarantee these items will be put to good use!

Saturday Units: Engine 33 and Ambulance 399.

Sunday Units: Engine 31, Rescue Squad 3, Ambulance 37, and EMS Utility 3.
