Motorcycle Collision with
One Flyout on Crain Highway

May 6, 2004 1732 hrs:

Units from Waldorf were alerted for a motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle on Crain Highway in the area of the Fashion Warehouse. Ambulance 38 arrived on scene shortly after and found the motorcycle rider lying in the middle of the southbound lanes of Crain Highway. Rescue Squad 3 arrived moments later and assisted the EMS crew with patient care. Ambulance 38 requested a helicopter to transport the patient to an area trauma center due to the seriousness of the injuries the patient sustained. Engine 33 and Engine 121 responded to the Chaney Building to setup the landing site for US Park Police Eagle II. The patient was flown to a Washington DC trauma center for further treatment.
