Working House Fire in Mechanicsville

Truck 3 was alerted mutual aid to St Mary's County for a house fire on Dudley Drive in Mechanicsville Station 22's area. First arriving Mechanicsville Engine 224 advised they had heavy fire showing from Side 1 of the residence. Upon arrival, Truck 3 was assigned to provide lights inside the structure and assist with overhauling. The crew worked quickly to open up the walls and ceiling in the burned rooms to check for extension. Upon arrival of the Fire Marshall, Truck 3's crew worked with the investigator to clear the room of origin and search for the cause of the fire. Truck 3 cleared the scene and returned to quarters at 0205hrs.
