Waldorf Units Respond to
Working House Fire in Brandywine

December 12, 2003 2128hrs:



Rescue Squad 3 was dispatched for a reported furnace fire in a single-family residence in Brandywine (Prince Georges County). Brandywine E402 arrived on scene with fire showing from Side 3 of a 2-story dwelling. Engine 122 and Ambulance 37 were dispatched for the working fire assignment. Rescue Squad 3 was the third arriving piece on the scene and assisted Brandywine with opening up and ventilating the 1st and 2nd floors, as well as performing the primary and secondary searches. Engine 122 worked with the Fire Investigators and Clinton Truck 25 with overall. Rescue Squad 3 and Ambulance 37 cleared the scene after 2-1/2 hours with Engine 122 clearing a short time later.
