Motor Vehicle Collision Shuts Down
Crain Highway on Busy Saturday Afternoon

December 27, 2003 1357hrs:

Waldorf units were alerted for a motor vehicle collision with injuries on Crain Highway in front of the Hamilton Building. Rescue Squad 3 arrived on the scene to find a two-vehicle collision with substantial damage to both vehicles. The front seat passenger of one of the vehicles was 7-months pregnant and flown to a trauma center from injuries sustained by her seatbelt. The cause of the collision is under investigation by Maryland State Police. Units cleared the scene at 1442 hrs.
