Units from Waldorf were dispatched mutual aid to Prince Georges County for the reported house fire at 16206 Ashbox Road in Baden. First arriving PGFD units found a single-story residence with fire showing. PGFD Incident Commander determined that the structure was unsafe and evacuated the residence. Truck 3 arrived as 1st due special service and positioned on Side Alpha. Engine 121 and Tanker 12 were staged upon arrival. Ambulance 399 arrived on scene and stood by as EMS support. Once the fire was knocked down with exterior lines, crews re-entered the residence and extinguished the fire. Truck 3's crew threw ladders and assisted with opening up the ceiling and walls for the engine companies. Command held Truck3 and Ambulance 399 and returned Engine 121 and Tanker 12. Units remained on scene until overhaul was completed and then returned to quarters.
