Squad 3 on House Fire

At 2202 hours the house fire assignment for 8818 Cottongrass St. was sounded. Squad 3 responded with six as the first due special service along with Chief 3A and arrived just behind E-242 from Accokeek VFD to find a working fire in the garage. Squad 3 performed a Primary search of the residence witch turned up negative and also assisted the engine with opening up the walls and ceiling in the fire area. Chief 3 had the Cottongrass St. Command and requested the MSFM. Units cleared the scene in about 1 hour.
