House Fire on Bennsville Road

At 1415 hours a House Fire at 7150 Bensville Road was dispatched in Company 12's first due. Rescue Engine 123 and Tanker 12 responded along with Chief 12B. Several units arrived on the scene simultaneously to find smoke showing from the basement. The Engine crews from Companies 12 and 11 deployed there attack lines quickly covering both the 1st floor and basement. A storage room in the basement was found to be fully involved with some extension to the 1st floor. The fire in the basement and first floor was quickly extinguished due to the speedy response of the Counties Volunteer Firemen. Rescue Squad 7 and Truck 3 worked on searches opening up and securing utilities. Chief 12B had the Bensville Rd. Command and Assigned Chief 824 to division 1, Chief 11A to the basement division and Chief 8 had water supply.
