Small Fire in Idlewood

Units from Waldorf were dispatched to Schult Place in Idlewood Trailer Park for the reported house on fire. Chief 3B was the first to arrive, with nothing evident, however discovered a small fire quickly spreading from a furnace once inside the home. E-31 arrived and advanced a 1 ¾ hand line to quickly extinguish a fire that was now rolling across the ceiling. RS-40 arrived and ran lights and fans inside the house while E-32 secured the power and assisted RS-40 with overhaul. Chief 3 had the Schult Pl Command and held the assignment to E-31, 32 and RS-40. Units cleared in under an hour.
