House Fire on Leonardtown Rd.

January 26, 2030 hrs:

Charles County Communications sounded the assignment for a working basement fire in a house in Company 2’s first due bringing E-32, RS-3, and Chief 3B to assist the units from Co.2. Chief 2 was the first to arrive on the scene with fire showing from the front of the house. Moments later he advised that the bulk of the fire had been knocked by a County Police Officers' fire extinguisher through a window. E-32, RS-3, and Chief 3B all arrived together just behind E-23 and were directed to check for extension and ventilate the house. E-32 checked for extension finding none while RS-3 set up lights and fans and ventilated the house. Co.3 units operated on the scene for approx. 40 minutes before being released by command.
