Gas Leak in Building turns
into Building Fire at #50 Post Office Rd.

The assignment for a gas leak in a building was sent to # 50 Post Office Rd. E-31 responded and arrived on scene with their own hydrant of a three story commercial office building with noting evident. As E-31 investigated they found fire in the ceiling and walls of a room on the third floor. E-31 used the 400’ pre-connect to extinguish the fire. Chief 3B arrived on the scene and assumed the Waldorf Command. Command had E-123 lay another line in with E-23 picking it up. E-123 along with Truck 1 assisted in opening up on the third floor while E-23 secured the power to the third floor. Chief 3 arrived on the scene and took over as the Command and Held the units from 3 and 12 and Truck-1. Units Operated for about an hour.
