House Struck by lightning in Carrington

On Sunday April 15 Companies 3 and 12 were alerted to 737 University Dr for the house struck by lighting ambulance 38 arrived on the scene with smoke showing from the eves of the house. E-122 arrived on the scene and began searching for the source of the smoke E-32 arrived shortly after coming from Crain Hwy and McKendree Rd. on a run in P.G. County to secure the water supply just as Truck 1 was arriving on the scene units found some boxes in a garage smoking that was straight up into the attic area and removed the same. Units from 3,12, and 1 remained on the scene for about and hour.
