Attic fire on Rockefeller Ct

Units from the Waldorf stations were alerted to 3438 Rockefeller Ct. for the attic on fire. Engine 31 arrived on scene reporting smoke showing from the attic. Chief 3B arrived just after with a one story commercial building with smoke showing from the middle unit of a multi occupancy structure. Chief 3A and 12A arrived next with 3A assuming command. Once inside the building E-31 opened up the ceiling finding fire in the attic and put a quick knock on the fire. Rescue Engine 123 was the next arriving and was put to work on the roof to open up as quickly as possible. Truck 1 arrived and assisted in opening the roof and checking the exposures. Command held Units from 3,12,1, and 2 for approximately 2 hours.
