Just as the severe thunderstorms were moving through the Clinton section of
P.G. County, RS-3 was alerted, third due special service, to Kilarney St. for the house fire. RS-3 responded with 4 volunteers, leaving another crew
at the station. RS-3 arrived on scene as the first due special service and second piece of apparatus overall. RS-3 conducted a primary search (which
proved to be negative), ventilated, threw ground ladders, and opened up the
ceiling area in the basement. A smoldering fire was found in between floors
of the house and was quickly extinguished by Co. 40. RS-3 returned to
service in just under an hour.
