MVC into a tree in Forest Park

During the early morning hours Station’s 3 and 12 were alerted to the 4,000 blk of Leonardtown Rd for the motor vehicle accident. Ambulance 37 was first to arrive on the scene and advised they had one head on into a tree and requested a helicopter. Engine 121 and Chief 3A arrived next, followed shortly by Squad 3 and Chief 3. Chief 3A established the Waldorf Command and Chief 3 had the operations. Several EMS units were clearing calls in Waldorf and responded to the accident location to assist on the scene. Engine 121 cleared the scene and responded to Thomas Stone High School to set up the L.Z. for Trooper 2. Units cleared and returned to service around 0400 hrs.
