Early Morning MVA with Medevac

July 25, 0510 hrs

Station 3 was alerted for a motor vehicle accident on Leonardtown Road, north of Post Office Road. Rescue Squad 3 arrived to find a two vehicle "T-bone" type accident involving a pick up truck and a stake body construction vehicle. The driver of the pick up truck was suffering from several deep lacerations and possible head trauma. Crews from RS-3 and ParaAmb 399 removed the patient from the vehicle, and he was transported to Prince George's Hospital Center by Trooper 2. The operator of the other vehicle refused treatment.
