Single MVA on St. Peter's Church Road

September 2, 1243 hrs

Units from Waldorf were dispatched to St. Peter's Church Road for the MVA. Crews found a single vehicle into a tree with two patients. One patient was out of the car, and one was still pinned in the car. The pinned patient had a femur fracture to his right leg and the other patient had a head injury. RS-3 used a combo tool to pop the door while E-361 stretched their trash line to provide protection for the extrication. The patient in the vehicle had the hare traction splint placed on his leg prior to being removed from the vehicle. E-31 was redirected to Pinefield Park to set up the landing zone for Trooper 2. Chief 3-B had the incident command.
