St Charles Parkway & Gallery Place Collision

September 28, 1318 hours

Fire 3, PA127, and EMS 60 were dispatched to St Charles Parkway and Gallery Place for a reported motor vehicle collision. While enroute, units were advised to stage away from the scene due to reports of gunfire in the area. Charles County Sheriffs Office units arrived on scene and found a 2 vehicle collision with one occupant ejected from a pickup truck. Rescue Squad 3, Ambulance 609, and PA127 arrived on scene and immediately began patient care. The occupant of the 2nd vehicle could not be located by the CCSO units. Due to the injuries sustained by the ejected truck driver, Trooper 2 was requested to transport the patient. Squad 3 setup the landing site at Stoddert Middle School. Trooper 2 transported the patient to Prince Georges Hospital Center. All units cleared the scene and returned to quarters.
