Truck 3 and E-122
on House fire in Accokeek

At 0606 hrs, Engine Co. 12 and Truck Co. 3 were alerted to Manning Rd East for a house on fire. E-122 and Truck 3 arrived on the scene simultaneously just behind 24’s Engine with fire showing. Truck 3 sets up for defensive operations as units were advised that there would be no interior operations. Truck 3 used their ladder pipe for about 10 minutes along with Truck 11 to knock the bulk of the fire down. Afterwards units used several hand lines from the exterior of the house to finish up. Command released Truck 3 around 0740 just in time to get back to the fire house as the general alarm was being sounded for the brush fire in Newburg.
