Engine Company 3 and Paramedic Ambulance 37 were dispatched mutual aid to Prince Georges County for the motor vehicle collision with subjects trapped on Brandywine Road in the area of Baden Fire Department Station 36. Engine 32 arrived on scene as Brandywine Rescue Engine 840 was beginning to extricate the patient. Engine 32's crew pulled the 100' bumper line since there was no protection line in place. PA-37 arrived on scene and was assigned to the 2nd patient on scene. PA-37 determined their patient needed to be flown out and requested a medevac. Once the extrication was completed, Engine 32 was reassigned to setup the landing site at Baden Station 36 for Trooper 2. Once the patient was airlifted from the scene, all Waldorf units returned to service.
