MVC on Poplar Hill Rd. a/o Dr. Mudd Rd.

As the first snow of the year finally started to stick, units from Waldorf and Hughesville were alerted to Poplar Hill Rd. and Dr. Mudd Rd. for the motor vehicle collision with one trapped. Squad 3, Engine 31 Ambulance 39 Paramedic Ambulance 38 and Chief 3B responded on the call and were advised that the County Police were on the scene advising that there was no one trapped and that there was a single vehicle single occupant. Chief 3B held Squad 3 and a BLS unit and ALS unit from EMS 3. Amazingly the driver of this vehicle managed to wiggle his way out after driving head on into a tree on the driver’s side of a mini van.
