Squad 3 and PA-37 were dispatched to St. Charles Pkwy in the area of St. Marks Drive for the motor vehicle collision. Units arrived on scene to find a vehicle that struck a tree and came to rest near a drainage culvert. Squad 3 stabilized the vehicle using the Paratech struts and the come-a-long. Due to the size of the patient, the patient had to be removed via passenger side. Squad 3 used the O cutters and Maverick tool to remove both doors, center console, steering wheel and passenger seat. Once the patient was extricated and and evaluated by PA-37, it was determeined that the patient would be medivaced due to mechanicism of injury.

The landing zone was at Thomas Stone HS and was handled by E-34 and E-121.
