Reported by Deputy Chief DJ Mills

At 2321 hours, Station 3 was alerted for the working house fire in the 500 block of Garner Avenue. Engine 32 found fire showing from the front and both sides. Engine 32 deployed both cross-lays and entered the structure to find colliers mansion syndrome conditions inside. Engine 32 along with Engine 121 and 123 used several hand-lines to extinguish the bulk of the fire, however due to the amount of stuff inside the home, Truck-1, RS-2, and Engine 824 had to start removing debris out side of the home before the incident could be declared under control. All units on the scene worked tirelessly on removing the debris until the early morning hours. The Units cleared at 0211 hours. Chief 3 had the Garner Ave Command.
