House Fire in Bannister

At 1646 hours Stations 3 and 12 were alerted to the 3500 block of Norwood Court in the Bannister neighborhood for the house fire. Seconds later the assignment was upgraded as additional calls indicated a working fire. Engine 32 arrived to find heavy fire on the first and second floors of a two story single family dwelling. The Engine crew deployed a cross-lay and knocked the bulk of the fire down with the other engines on scene hitting several hot spots. Truck 1 and Squad 2 worked on opening up, searches and securing utilities.
