Passing of Former Maryland State
Firemen's Associaiton President
Charles "Jenks" Mattingly III

The members of the Waldorf VFD are saddened to announce the passing of former MSFA President Charles "Jenks" Mattingly III. Jenks passed away on Monday January 16th 2012 at 1804hrs. Jenks served as MSFA President from 2001-2002. In addition, Jenks also served as Southern Maryland Firemen's Association President, Hollywood VFD President, and many other prestigous Fire Department positions. Jenks Mattingly was a pillar in the Southern Maryland Fire Service region and will be sorely missed by many.

On behalf of all the members of the Waldorf VFD, we express our condolences to Jenk's family, friends, and members of the Hollywood VFD.
