Firefighter/Paramedic Gus Bowling
March 28, 1962 - March 15, 2013

It is with a heavy heart that the Waldorf Volunteer Fire Department announces the passing of Fire & EMS 12 member Gus Bowling. Gus has been fighting terminal cancer for many years and has been an inspiration to many of us. Sadly, his battle has come to an end. Gus has touched so many lives that we can't even begin to put into words on the website. Gus was a 13 year member of the Waldorf VFD. Gus was also a member/former member of the following departments:

Naval District of Washington Indian Head Company 20
Maryland Fire & Rescue Institute Instructor
