All applicants to the department MUST:
- Be at least 18 years old (16 with parental consent)
- Be able to pass a full background investigation
- Be able to pass a physical (if operational member)
- Be willing to be an active member of the organization, including duty shift participation, completion of hundreds of hours of initial and ongoing training and participation in department events.
